Addressing Troubled Alerts

If your Alarm Panel or App reports a troubled alert, it’s important to address the issue and resolve it to clear the alert. These alerts are to notify you that there is an issue with the system and your system may not operate properly until that issue is fixed.

 To Address and Resolve your troubled condition: 

  1. Locate the troubled alert either on your app or Alarm Panel.

    1. You can also check the peripherals page for any reported trouble conditions

  2. Identify the sensor or equipment related to that troubled condition and refer to the links below for its respective troubleshooting. 

    1. For any sensors reporting a Loss of Supervision -

      1. Door/Window Sensors

      2. Motion Sensors

      3. Glass Break Sensors

      4. Water Leak Detectors

      5. Smoke Detectors

      6. CO Detectors

    2. For any Sensors reporting a Low Battery - 

      1. Door/Window Sensors

      2. Motion Sensors

      3. Glass Break Sensors

      4. Water Leak Detectors

      5. Smoke Detectors

      6. CO Detectors

      7. Key Remote

      8. Panic Button

      9. Siren

    3. For Any Sensors reporting a Tamper

      1. Door/Window Sensors

      2. Motion Sensors

      3. Glass Break Sensors

      4. Water Leak Detectors

      5. Smoke Detectors

      6. CO Detectors

    4. For Power Issues (Low Battery, AC Power Failure) on your Hub

    5. If you get an “Alarm Panel Tampering” Please reach out to our support team for further assistance.

  3. Once you have resolved the troubled issue, the alert banner will clear from your device.
