Panel Sound Not Working

If your panel isn’t making any noise—like door chimes or voice alerts—it’s often a simple fix. Follow the steps below to get your panel sounding like it should again. 

  1. Check the Panel Volume
    • On the home screen, look at the bottom right corner.
    • Make sure the volume is not set to “0”.
  2. Adjust Sound Settings
    • Tap Settings (top right corner).
    • Enter your four-digit Master Code.
    • Go to System > Sounds.
    • Make sure the following are all turned ON:
      • Panel Volume
      • Chime Sound
      • Voice Sound
  3. Check Individual Sensor Chimes
    • From Settings, enter your Master Code again.
    • Tap Sensors, then choose the sensor type (like Door or Window).
    • Press EDIT next to the sensor that isn’t chiming.
    • Ensure Chime and/or Voice Sound is set to ON.
  4. If the sound still isn’t working, reboot the Panel
    • Remove the backplate from your panel.
    • Carefully unplug the AC power cord and then the backup battery.
    • Wait for the panel to fully power off.
    • Reconnect the backup battery first, then the AC power cord.
