Android and iOS devices have slightly different app interfaces within the Cove Connect app. Scroll to your device and type below

App Navigation With iOS

Home Screen/Dashboard

When you first log into the app, the screen will be mostly blank. You will be able to customize your home screen later.  

Accessing Settings 

Tap on the gear icon in the top left corner of your screen.

On this menu, you’ll see this list:

• “Manage Access” - View and modify what access you would like to give users on your system.
• “Manage System” - Rename and add new sensors to your system.
• “Manage Cameras” - Access your cameras’ settings.
• Dealer Info: View the Dealer information (this may be removed in our build)
• My Info: View and modify the user info on the account
• “Notifications” - Modify which notifications you receive.
• “Preferences” - Turn on Face ID login
• “Theme” - Customize your app theme color
• “About” - Includes information about the app
• “License Agreement”
• “Privacy and Terms”
• “Logout” - Logs you out of the app.

Modify Favorites

In the top right-hand corner of the screen, you will see three white lines and a pencil.  If you tap this button, it will bring up a screen that lets you customize what you see on your home screen.

Across the bottom of your Cove Connect App, you will notice different menu options:

• Home - The home page of the app to see favorites. 
• Security - Access and control of the Security components of the system. 
• Cameras - Access and view your camera footage (only available with the Plus plan). 
• Scenes - View and control the routines or “Scenes” for your system.
• Groups - View and modify the different groups you have set for your system.

To access your app settings, tap on the 3 white lines in the top left corner of the screen. This button will allow you to navigate through all of the screens on your app. These screens include:

• “Dashboard” - Your app home screen, which also displays your “Favorites”
• “Security” - Access and control the security components of your system. 
• “Cameras” - Access and view the footage of the cameras (Available on the plus plan)
• “Scenes” - View and control the routines or scenes for your system
• “Groups” - View and modify the different groups you have set for your system. 
• “My Info” - View and modify the user information on your account.
• “Manage Access” - View and modify the control of other users on the system.
• “Dealer Info” - This contains information to contact our support team.
• “Notifications” - Modify which notifications you receive.
• “Settings” - View auxiliary settings you can adjust for your system.
• “About” - See information about the app.
• “Logout” - Log out of the app.

Modify “Favorites”

When you first log into the app it will look pretty blank. The idea and magic behind our app’s design is it features a customizable interface that will allow you to customize what shows up and what parts of your system you would like to see on your homepage.
