Rebooting your Hub from the App (Android)

Your Hub is the brain of your system. It is the device that receives and delivers equipment signals to the rest of the house. As with most technology, it is recommended to perform a soft reset at least once a month or as the needs arise. This will help maintain the longevity of your equipment while minimizing any potential troubled conditions. You can perform a soft reset or reboot to your system. To perform this soft reset: 

  1. Log into the app

  2. Click on the 3 bars at the top left to access the side menu

  3. Select “Settings” 

  4. Scroll down to “Reset Panel”

  5. Once selected, you may be required to enter a username or password or use biometric authentication. 

  6. Click “Soft Reset” on the confirmation page to initiate the soft reset. 

  7. Once completed your Hub will turn off and then back on momentarily afterwards. Please wait 2 minutes for the cycle to complete before sending any commands.

This will help maintain the longevity of your equipment while minimizing any potential troubled conditions. You can perform a soft reset or reboot to your system. To perform this soft reset: 

  1. Log into the app

  2. Click on the gear icon at the top left to access the settings.

  3. Select “Manage System” 

  4. Select the Name of the system (by default the name is a really long number) 

  5. Scroll down to “Reset Connect+”

  6. Once selected, you may be required to enter a pin or use biometric authentication. 

  7. Click “Soft Reset” on the confirmation page to initiate the soft reset. 

  8. Once completed your Hub will turn off and then back on momentarily afterwards. Please wait 2 minutes for the cycle to complete before sending any commands. 

Changing the App Theme (Android) 

You have the ability to change the color scheme on your app to best suit your wants. To adjust the color scheme: 

  1. Log into the app

  2. Click on the 3 bars at the top left to access the side menu

  3. Select “Settings” 

  4. Scroll down to “App Theme” 

  5. From here you can select the color and brightness of your theme. 

  6. To save your changes, click “Set Color”. 

Changing the App Theme (iOS) 

You have the ability to change the color scheme on your app to best suit your wants. To adjust the color scheme: 

  1. Log into the app

  2. Click on the gear icon at the top left to access the settings.

  3. Select “Theme” 

  4. From here you can select the color and brightness of your theme. 

  5. To save your changes, click the floppy disk icon at the top right. 

Please note that this will only change the color scheme on the app but will not change any of the color schemes on your alarm panels.

Notification Preferences (Android)

The Cove Connect system can notify you (both on push notifications and on email) on almost all aspects of your system. If you wish to modify what and how you are notified: 

  1. Log into the App

  2. Click on the 3 bars at the Top left to access the side menu

  3. Select “Notifications”

  4. Check or uncheck the desired notifications and method you’d like to be notified for

    1. If you want more specific notifications related to your sensors, select “Zone notifications” and toggle on/off the desired notifications. 

  5. Once you have selected your desired notifications, click on the Floppy disk icon at the top right to save your changes.
