Getting Started with the Cove Connect App

Your Cove system is at your fingertips with the Cove Connect App. Follow these simple steps to download, log in, and start controlling your home security from anywhere.
Step 1: Download the App
- Open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Search for “Cove Connect.”
- Tap Install or Download.
- Once downloaded, open the app.
- When prompted, allow permissions (location, contacts, phone) for the best experience.
Step 2: Log in to the App
- Use the username and password emailed to you after purchase, and texted after your system installation.
- First-time users will be prompted to review Terms and Conditions—tap Accept.
- Your phone may also ask if you’d like to enable Touch ID or Face ID for easy login.
Face/Fingerprint authentication is supported on some phone models. You can enable these later in your phone or app settings.
Step 3: Set or Reset Your Password
If You’re Logging in for the First Time:
- Enter your temporary password.
- We recommend changing it later under “My Info” in the app for extra security.
Forgot Your Password?
- Tap “Forgot Password” on the login screen.
- Enter your email to receive a password reset link.
- Open the email and click the link to set a new password.
- Return to the app and log in with your new password.
