Alarm Certificate


As a homeowner, one of the great benefits of purchasing a security system is that you can receive a discount on your homeowners' insurance. Of course, your insurance company will want proof of monitoring so you will need to obtain a Certificate of Proof of Monitoring.

Obtaining a Certificate

We do offer Certificates for proof of monitoring; after your installation is complete, an email is sent to you. If you are unable to locate the email, you can test your system. 30 - 40 minutes after the test is complete you will be emailed a Certificate of Proof of Monitoring. If the email does not arrive, call 855.268.3669 and a member of our support team can manually create a certificate and email it to you.

  • Why should I have to chase it when my email says after install you will will email the proof?

  • I emailed support. Waiting on my certificate. I have had my system installed since December, it did not arrive via email after setup/testing as stated in the welcome email from Cove. Let's see if they will email me one. Overall great system, I am loving the new customer self-service portal. They are working out the kinks, I am grateful for the ease of use and setup.  

    • Jacob Wright I'm sorry to hear you haven't received your alarm certificate. We have recently added the Alarm certificate to the Portal so you can download it there, or feel free to reach out to our support team and we would be happy to get that taken care of for you.
