From the moment you place your order to the day your system is up and running, Cove will send you a series of emails. Here's a breakdown of each one so you know exactly what to expect — and what to do with it.

Order Confirmation

Subject: Your Cove Order is Confirmed.
Triggered: Sent right after you place your order.

This email includes:

• Your order summary
• Confirmation number
• Your shipping address
• Your account safe word

Note: Review this email carefully to ensure all information is correct.

Permit Information

Subject: New Home Security Permit Information
Triggered: Sent after you place your order
Some cities and counties require a permit to install a monitored alarm system. This email included the monitoring station details you'll need to apply. It also contains information about homeowner's insurance discount you may qualify for, visit this article to learn more.

Customer Portal Setup

Subject: Portal Signup ######-Cove
Triggered: After placing your order
This email sets up your cove customer portal account.  To get started, click on the “Create My Password” button and create your password. Once you sign up on your Cove Customer Portal, you will be able to:

• Track your shipment
• Access billing info
• Order additional equipment
• View the referral program and support articles

Shipping Notification

Subject: Cove Order Has Shipped ####
Triggered: When your order ships

This email includes:

• Your tracking number and shipping details
• Estimated delivery window
• A list of equipment included in your package

Delivery Confirmation

Subject: Your Cove System Has Arrived
Triggered: When your order is delivered

Once your system arrives, you'll receive a confirmation email with:

• Confirmation that your package was delivered
• A link to installation videos
• Setup tips to get started quickly

Certificate

Triggered: Once your system is installed
Once your system is installed, cove will email you an alarm certificate. You can forward this certificate to your homeowner’s insurance provider to qualify for a discount. Many insurance companies offer a discount for installing a home security system. 

Payment Confirmation

Triggered: After your first monthly payment is processed
This email confirms that your billing is set up. Going forward, your preferred payment method will be charged each month until you cancel your monitoring service.
