Cove InstaText is a revolutionary way to keep you and those you trust updated when an alarm is triggered. With InstaText, you'll get immediate notifications and can respond to emergencies and security alarms right from your text messages.

How Does It Work

When our monitoring station receives an alarm from your system we will call, text and email you; to prevent dispatching the police if they are not needed. We utilize a tool called InstaText to notify you and your emergency contacts, listed when you purchased your system, in the event of an alarm. Emergency contacts can be updated by emailing our support team.

During an alarm event, you will receive a text message with a link, following the link you will be directed to a web-page that will ask you if you would like to continue to respond to the event. Once you click continue the web-page will then display the event as seen in the image below. From the screen, you will be able to Dismiss Alarm or Dispatch the authorities.

The link that we provide to you is good for five minutes. However, you only have 15 seconds to Dismiss Alarm from the time that you receive the alert. During this time you may also receive a call from our monitoring station it will show as an (800, 855, or 844 number)

If you choose to Dispatch, the authorities will be contacted immediately. If you choose to Dismiss Alarm, you will be asked to put in your verbal password. Your verbal password was created at the time of purchase and is a safe word that when provided will cancel a false alarm.
