Mounting Steps
Follow these steps to install your camera securely and ensure optimal performance.
Step 1: Choose a Location

- Make sure the location receives at least 3 hours of direct sunlight each day so the solar panel can maintain and charge the camera’s battery.
- Verify your Wi-Fi signal strength at the installation site by running a speed test on your phone’s browser at speedtest.net.
Step 2: Install the Mounting Plate
- Hold the mounting plate against the surface.
- Mark the screw hole positions with a pencil.
- Drill pilot holes (use wall anchors if mounting on brick, concrete, or drywall).
- Secure the plate using the provided screws.
Step 3: Attach the Camera
- Align the holes on the back of the camera with the notches on the mounting plate.
- Slide the camera downward until you hear or feel it click into place.
- Gently tug the camera to confirm it is locked securely.
Step 4: Adjust the Viewing Angle
- Tilt or rotate the camera until you have your desired view.
- Ensure the solar panel is unobstructed and positioned to receive maximum sunlight.
If you are still encountering any issues:
- If the camera won’t lock in, make sure the mounting teeth are properly aligned before sliding it down.
- For unstable Wi-Fi, try moving your router closer to the installation site or use a Wi-Fi extender to boost the signal.
