Can I use my existing security equipment with Cove?
Table of Contents
We understand that you might already have home security equipment from a previous provider. While our panel may be compatible with some existing devices, compatibility depends on a few technical factors, and we can not guarantee third-party sensors will work with your Cove system. We will gladly try to connect your existing equipment, though, and assist to the best of our abilities.
A Few Important Notes:
- No Warranty on Third-Party Devices: While we will do our best to help with the compatible sensors, equipment not purchased directly from Cove is not covered under our warranty. If a third-party sensor stops working, a replacement will need to be purchased from Cove.
- This Applies to Legacy Systems: These compatibility guidelines apply to our Cove Simple panel, which is no longer available. If you’re interested in our newest, upgraded equipment, click here to learn more.
