Hub Settings on the Alarm Panel
Table of Contents
Need to adjust your Hub settings using your Alarm Panel? Here's everything you need to know in simple steps!
Note: In the Settings menu, “Panel” actually refers to your Hub, not the Alarm Panel itself. If you're looking for Alarm Panel settings, check this article instead.
How to Access Hub Settings
- Click on “More” in the bottom navigation bar
- Select “Settings”
- Select “Panel”
- Enter the 4-digit master passcode
Enabling/Disabling Global Chime
The Global Chime lets your system chime (make a sound) on all connected devices (Hubs, Alarm Panels, and sirens) when a sensor is triggered or the system is armed/disarmed.
By default, this feature is off, but here’s how to change it:
- Go to More > Settings > Panel.
- Enter your passcode.
- Find the “Global Chime” option.
- Tap the toggle to turn it ON (blue) or OFF (gray).
Once done, the change applies right away. Use the back arrow or Home button to exit.
Enabling/Disabling Quick Arming
Quick arming allows you to arm your system without entering a user passcode first. This setting is automatically turned on when you receive your panel.
To turn this setting off please follow these steps on your Alarm Panel:
- Click on “More” in the bottom navigation bar.
- Select “Settings”
- Select “Panel”
- Enter the 4-digit master passcode
- Find Quick Arm and toggle it on or off as you prefer

Manage User Access
Your Alarm Panel will allow you to manage your users and passcodes for your system. In order to do this your Alarm Panel and Hub need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi Network.
If you need help doing this please view these articles:
Once your Hub and Alarm Panel are both connected you can now connect the Alarm Panel to our backend. This will allow you to add, delete, and edit users and passcodes. For more information, please refer to this article.
Keypads
This section shows all Alarm Panels connected to your Hub, including their serial numbers.
Want to rename an Alarm Panel?
- Go to Keypads.
- Tap and hold on the name of the Alarm Panel you want to rename.
- Type the new name. It will automatically update the names of the other alarm panels from this page.
While this method works, we recommend doing it using this method.
Communication Test
The communication test refers to the communication between the Hub and our monitoring team. If you are looking for communication between the Alarm panel and the Hub, please refer to the “Wi-Fi” section of the “Touchpad” settings.
To initiate a communication test:
- Click on “More” at the bottom navigation bar.
- Select “Settings”
- Select “Panel”
- Enter the 4-digit passcode.
- Locate and click on “Communication Test”
- Wait roughly 1-2 minutes or until the Status changes from “Testing” to your end result.
There are 5 status results available:
- Bad - Your signal strength to our monitoring is very weak and is susceptible to dropping off the network when you need it. Consider relocating the Hub to improve its signal.
- Marginal - The signal is working but it’s weak and is still possible to drop off of the cellular network. Consider relocating the Hub to improve its signal.
- Acceptable - The signal is in an acceptable range where there’s little to no risk of the Hub dropping off of the cellular network
- Good - This signal has a good signal and any commands sent to and from the Hub will receive a speedy response
- Best - The signal strength is quite strong where it’s located.
You can see the results of your test, including:
- The response time that it takes to send a signal from the Hub to our monitoring team (in milliseconds) and the number of success commands being sent, including their success rate.
For additional information related to this test and troubleshooting Hub communication issues, please see this article.

- If you have moved your system into a new home and need to set your equipment back up
- If you are transferring the system to a friend or family.
If you find yourself moving or you want to transfer the account to someone else, please reach out to our support team for further assistance. We want to ensure that the transfer of equipment goes smoothly and potentially avoid any hiccups.
