Panel Not Powering On
If your Cove Security Panel will not power on, please follow the steps listed below. Unplug the panel from the wall outlet You will need to unplug the backup battery inside of the panel Slide off the stand by pulling it downwards Unscrew the battery door on the back of the panel Slide the battery cover down to remove Pull the battery (right side) up and back to reveal the battery connector Gently pull this connector from the panel and set it aside. (Leave the battery cover off) Wait for 1-2 minutes (this step is very important) with the battery unplugged Plug the panel back into the electrical outlet. Wait for 1-2 minutes (this step is very important) after you plug it back into the outlet. Reinstall the backup battery. Wait 2-3 minutes. Resetting Cove Panel
Resetting the Cove Panel To complete a reset of your panel , please follow the instructions below. The system must be DISARMED in order to complete a reset. Step by Step Instructions Disarm the system. Press and hold both the Home button and Phone button for five seconds until the screen changes and says, "To reset the system please enter your master passcode." Enter your master passcode within 10 seconds of the screen prompting you to do so. The screen should turn dark. Panel Low Battery usually indicates that your panel battery needs to be recharged promptly. Troubleshooting Panel Low Battery Issues If your home's power has gone out, allow 24 hours for the battery to recharge. If a low battery persists, continue troubleshooting. Verify that the transformer (Plug) is still properly secured in the outlet Verify that the outlet has power Verify that the outlet is not a GFCI (Reset button outlet) or switch-controlled outlet. For this reason, care is needed when powering your panel.
