Preferred Locations for your Touch Screen Panel
Your panel serves as the heart of your system and should be placed in a central location in your home. Your panel should be plugged into an outlet at all times; this outlet should NOT be a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI). These outlets are common in kitchens and bathrooms and have a reset button; be sure that the outlet is not controlled by a light switch either. Common Panel Installation Locations Counter-top Table-top Bookshelf Desk Wall (Professional installation recommended) Securing Panel Power If you have young children or worry about someone unplugging your panel, we recommend securing the plug to the outlet with the provided screw to avoid accidental loss of power. After the panel is plugged in you may notice a red X over the cellular bars on the panel display. It may take a few moments for the panel to establish a connection with the cell tower. Things to Avoid When choosing where to place your panel, it is important to avoid a few situations: Locations where the siren would be difficult to hear Near a window where an intruder might see it Within four feet of large metal appliances such as refrigerators, televisions, and washing machines Locations such as closets, garages, closed laundry rooms, bathrooms, and stairwells.…Read More -

Above is a short video overview of how your installation process should go. If you are unable to get the panel to respond when you are triggering a sensor, please use the information below to resolve your issue. YOU MUST TRIGGER YOUR SENSORS BEFORE YOU INSTALL YOUR SENSORS YOU MUST TAP NEXT BEFORE YOU MOVE ON TO ANOTHER SENSOR If you are going through your installation and a sensor is not triggering and you are unable to continue learning in sensors; call 855.268.3669. A member of our support team will walk you through exiting the installation wizard, as the wrong sensors may have been added to your panel. I Placed my Sensors Before I Powered on the Panel As you saw in the video, you were to plug in the panel before you placed your sensors. If you placed your sensors before you powered on your panel, you can still follow the prompts of the installation; we recommend walking around to each sensor with the panel in hand to complete the installation wizard. Exiting Wizard We do not recommend that you do this on your own, as your system will not be active in our monitoring station. However, if the panel has not prompted you to call tech support and press done, you will remain in the wizard until; you press and hold the Home and the Phone buttons down at the same time for three seconds. You will need to add, install, and test all of your sensors. Then a member of our support team will NEED TO MANUALLY ACTIVATE your account; this must be done before your system is being monitored.…Read More -
