Congratulations on your new system! Your Alarm Panel includes a built-in Installation Wizard that will walk you through every step of setting up your system (Sensors, Alarm Panel, and Hub). This guide breaks the process into clear sections so you can feel confident and supported from start to finish.
What We'll Cover:
- Navigating the User Interface
- Questions Menu
- Set up and Syncing Alarm Panel with Hub
- Connect to Wifi
- Creating Master Code
- Triggering and Installing Sensors
- Sensor Verification
- Arming and Disarming Instructions
- Monitoring/Welcome Call
Navigating the User Interface
As you move through the setup screens, here's what you'll typically see:
- Question Mark Icon (?) - This will bring up the questions menu (covered in the next section).
- Directions and installation instructions - This will be on the center of your page to walk you through how to trigger sensors followed generally by an image to instruct you how to operate or install the sensor.
- Continue - This allows you to proceed to the next part of the setup or installation.
- Back - Allows you to navigate back a page in case something isn’t properly completed.
- Skip - This allows you to skip the current step. (We recommend only using this if your sensor is not operating properly, but will still allow you to complete the rest of the setup. If skipped due to a sensor issue, please contact our Support Team.)
Questions Menu
If you have questions or run into issues during installation, tap the Question Mark (?) icon. This opens a support menu with our phone number and helpful tools.
From this menu (☰), you can see the following:
Information - Additional information including Serial number, firmware version number of that Alarm panel, and Hardware/build number.
Restart - This will restart the system and restart the install wizard back to its starting page.
Factory Default - This will unregister the Alarm Panel from the Hub and reset it back to its factory defaults. Please only Factory Default the Alarm panel when directed by our support team.
Power off - This will power off the Alarm Panel if the panel is currently unplugged. If it is not unplugged it will just restart the system.
Exit to Dashboard - This option will allow you to exit the rest of the installation. A confirmation pop-up will appear asking if you wish to exit or return back to the question menu. It's recommended only to exit the installation wizard when directed by our support team.
To exit out of the questions Menu, click “Done."
Set up and Syncing Alarm Panel with Hub
Step 1: Get Started
Before setting up your Alarm Panel, verify that the Hub is plugged into power and the lights are on. You can also connect an Ethernet cable to the Hub to enable internet access. Once your Hub is ready, connect your Alarm Panel and tap “Get Started” to begin the setup.
Step 2: Select and Confirm Your Hub
On the next screen, you’ll see a list of nearby Hubs (in most cases, only one will appear). To make sure you’re selecting the correct one, check the last four digits of the MAC address on the sticker located on the back of your Hub. If it matches what’s shown on the screen, tap on that Hub and then tap “Continue.”
Step 3: Sync Your Alarm Panel with the Hub
Your Hub will proceed with connecting to the Alarm Panel. When properly connected the page will switch to “Syncing panel data…”
When completed you will get this page:
Connecting Alarm Panel to Wifi
In this step, you'll be prompted to connect your Alarm Panel to a Wi-Fi network.
If Wi-Fi is not available in your home, tap “Skip for now” to move on to the next section.
Step 1:
Select your Wifi and click “Continue” to proceed to the password page.

Step 2:
Once on the Wifi Password page, click on the text box and enter your password. Check for any capitalization and special characters as it is case-sensitive. Once entered click “Continue” and the Panel will attempt to connect to the Network Selected.

Step 3:
Tap “Continue” to connect the panel to the selected network. If the connection is successful, you’ll see a confirmation pop-up.

Tap “Continue” to proceed to the next step: Master Code creation.
If you are unable to connect successfully, please refer to this article.
Creating Master Code
Step 1: Create Your Master Code
After connecting to your Hub, you’ll be prompted to create a 4-digit Master Code. This code grants access to system settings and allows you to manage users. Enter your desired 4-digit code to assign it as the Master Code.

Step 2: Confirm Your Code
You’ll then be asked to re-enter the same 4-digit code to confirm. If the codes don’t match, a prompt will appear asking you to try again. Go back and re-enter the correct code.
Step 3: Code Validation
Once the confirmation is successful, the system will validate and assign the code to the Master User. A confirmation message will appear once this is complete.

Tap “Continue” to move on to the next section: Installing Your Sensors.
Triggering and Installing Your Sensors
Step 1: Begin Sensor Installation
This step begins the process of installing your sensors throughout your home. Follow the on-screen instructions on each page to trigger the appropriate sensor for each category, as each type requires a specific method to activate.
Doors and Windows: Separate the magnet (small piece) from the sensor (large piece).
Motion Detectors: Press the button on the right-hand side.
Glass Break Sensors: Press the button on the right-hand side.
Smoke Detectors: Press and hold the “Test” button until it beeps. (Loud sound alert)
CO Detectors: Press and hold the “Test” button until it beeps. (Loud sound alert)
Flood Sensors: Press the tamper button on the bottom of the device.
Sirens: Plug in the siren and press “Continue” on the screen.
Step 2: Confirm Sensor Detection
Once triggered, the system will confirm that the sensor was detected. It will display the sensor’s default name.
To rename it, tap the “Edit” button and enter a new name.
The panel will announce: “Device Name changed to [new name].”
If renaming a door or window sensor, a pop-up will appear. We recommend only installing door sensors on doors and window sensors on windows. If unsure, contact support for help.
Step 3: Finalize Sensor Setup
After confirming the name, install the sensor using the suggested placement and tap “Continue” to move to the next sensor or sensor category.
If a sensor won’t trigger, you may skip it. A confirmation will appear before skipping the entire category.
If any sensor fails to work, we recommend contacting our support team for assistance.
Step 4: Sensor Setup Complete
Once all working sensors are added, you’ll see a confirmation screen. All successfully triggered sensors are now installed.

Tap “Continue” to verify sensor signals and proceed.
Sensor Verification
Step 1: Begin Sensor Testing
After installing your sensors, begin the verification process by triggering each sensor based on its type:
Door/Window Sensors: Separate the magnet (smaller piece) from the sensor (larger piece).
Motion Detectors: Press the button on the right side of the sensor.
Glass Break Sensors: Press the button on the right side of the sensor.
Smoke Detectors: Press and hold the “Test” button until it beeps. (Note: the sound is loud.)
CO Detectors: Press and hold the “Test” button until it beeps. (Note: the sound is loud.)
Flood Sensors: Press the tamper button located on the bottom of the device.
Step 2: Monitor Sensor Status
As you trigger each sensor, a list will update to show which types still need verification.
A green indicator means the sensor was successfully verified.

If a sensor does not trigger, you may click “Skip” to move forward. However, it’s strongly recommended to contact our support team if a sensor fails to verify.
Step 3: Test Plug-in Sirens (if applicable)
If you have any external or plug-in sirens, the system will prompt you to press the “Test” button.
- All connected sirens should emit a beep sound.
- Once confirmed, click “Continue.”
Step 4: Complete Sensor Verification
After all sensors have been tested and verified, you’ll reach a confirmation page.

Click “Continue” to proceed to the next section: Arming and Disarming Instructions.
