How to Create/Update the Hostage Passcode

Your Hostage Passcode is a silent alert tool designed for emergency situations where you're being forced to disarm your system.
When entered, this special code will:
- Disarm the system (to avoid suspicion)
- Silently alert the monitoring center, triggering an immediate emergency response
Important: Do not test this code. Once entered, emergency services cannot be canceled.
How to Set or Update Your Hostage Passcode
- Tap “Settings” (top right corner of your panel)
- Enter your 4-digit Master Code
- Select “User Passcodes”
- Tap “Create”
- Enter your 4-digit Hostage Passcode (you’ll be asked to confirm it)
You’re all set. This powerful safety feature is now ready if you ever need it.
