Choosing the Right Plan

Q: Which monitoring plan should I choose?
A: Cove offers two smart, affordable monitoring plans designed to fit your lifestyle and security needs: Basic and Plus. Whether you are looking for reliable protection or premium perks, we’ve got you covered. Check out this article for more information on our plans.

Q: Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
A: Yes! Simply log in to your Customer Portal to adjust your plan at any time.


Pricing & Subscriptions

Q: How much does monitoring cost?
A:

  • Basic Plan: $19.99/month
  • Plus Plan: $29.99/month

Q: Is there a contract?
A: No! All Cove plans are 100% contract-free — cancel anytime, no penalties.

Q: What is the $5/month equipment credit in the Plus Plan?
A: It’s a monthly credit you can use toward new equipment. It even rolls over if you don’t use it right away!


Promotions & Discounts

Q: Can I lock in pricing for a later date?
A: Unfortunately, no. Promotions and prices can change. To secure a deal, purchase during the active promotion period.

Q: How do I get the free camera?
A: Add the Eufy Indoor Camera to your cart, and the discount will apply automatically at checkout.

Q: Are there other discounts available?
A:

  • New Customers: Check the homepage for current promotions.
  • Loyal Customers: Use your Cove Credit in the Customer Portal for additional savings.

Special discounts are also available for military, medical workers, teachers, and government employees (verification required). Check out this article for more information.


System & Equipment

Q: Is professional installation required?
A: Not at all! Cove is a DIY-friendly system designed for simple setup.

Q: Can I use my own equipment with Cove?
A: No. Cove monitoring only works with Cove-provided equipment to ensure full compatibility and security.

Q: What kind of products does Cove offer?
A: Cove provides a range of security products, including door sensors, glass break sensors, security cameras, and more.

Q: Does Cove support Z-Wave?
A: No, Cove does not currently support Z-Wave. However, it is a feature that is being considered for future implementation.


Orders, Shipping & Availability

Q: Where is Cove's service available?
A: Cove's services are available throughout the United States. Currently, we do not offer services in Canada. Please contact customer support to confirm availability in your area.

Q: What are the shipping expectations for orders, and is there a faster way to receive the Cove security system?
A: We strive to process and fulfill your order within a few business days. Once shipped, delivery typically takes 2–9 business days, depending on your location and current demand. Expedited shipping is not currently available.


Cameras & Smart Features

Q: How many cameras can I add to my system?
A: You can connect up to 10 cameras to your Cove account.

Q: Do you offer wired outdoor cameras?
A: Currently, Cove offers battery-powered outdoor cameras (with optional solar panels). Fully wired outdoor camera options are not available.


Account & Billing

Q: When does my monthly subscription begin?
A: Your subscription begins on the purchase date, and the equipment warranty begins on the delivery date.

Q: How do I check which plan I’m on?
A: Log in to your Customer Portal and scroll to the “My Account” section. You’ll see your current plan listed, along with the option to switch plans.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept major credit and debit cards. After your initial payment, you will also have the option to pay for your monthly monitoring subscription via ACH. Check out this article for more information on updating your credit card to ACH.
