Your panel is designed to guide you through installing your sensors. If a sensor doesn't verify after three attempts, the panel will prompt you to call our Support Team at 855.268.3669. After the call, simply press “Done” on the panel screen.

If Your Panel Says: “I’m Ready to Arm”

Great news, your system is almost ready! Follow these final steps to verify everything is working:

1. Check Your Sensors

  • Tap the Settings icon (gear symbol in the top right corner).
  • Select Sensors from the four options.
  • Make sure all installed sensors show as Active.

2. Test Your System

  • Go back to Settings, then tap System.
  • Select Test System.
  • Tap the Test button next to Complete Sensor Signal Test.
  • The screen will turn yellow and show “Test will end in 10 minutes.”
  • You’ll see a list of your sensors—walk around your home and trigger each one (open/close doors and windows, activate motion, etc.).

If you have other sensors (like motion sensors, smoke detectors, key remotes, or flood sensors), trigger them just like you did during setup.

  • Once testing is complete, you’ll return to the Test System page, and the button will display our signature Cove color (green, blue, or teal).

Last Step: Activate Monitoring

Call 855.268.3669 or email us via our Contact Us page to activate your system with our monitoring station.

If Your Panel Says: “I’m Not Ready to Arm – Check Your Sensors”

Don’t worry—this usually means a sensor isn’t reading correctly. Here’s how to fix it:

1. Check Sensor Status

  • Tap Check Status or go to Settings.
  • Enter your 4-digit master PIN.
  • Tap Sensors and check that all sensors are Active.
  • If any sensor shows as open but is physically closed, closed, click here for troubleshooting tips

2. Confirm System Readiness

  • Press the Home button on the panel.
  • If the panel now says “I’m Ready to Arm,” you’re good to move on!

3. Test Your System

  • Repeat the same test process as above:
  • Settings → System → Test System → Complete Sensor Signal Test
  • Trigger each sensor
  • Once complete, the panel will return to the test screen with the Cove-colored test button.
