Panic Alert On Key Remote (SOS)
The SOS panic alert sends an emergency signal to the monitoring station whether your alarm is armed or not. Disabling the SOS button in the panel settings will turn this feature off. How to Use the SOS Panic Alert Press and hold the SOS button for three seconds twice within a 10-second window This will trigger the alarm siren and send an emergency signal to the central monitoring station. How to Disable the SOS Panic Alert Button Go to "Settings" Enter your "4-digit Master Passcode" Select "Sensors" Select "Remotes" Tap EDIT next to the Remote you wish to change On the SOS Button row tap "ON or OFF". Disarming System Via Key Remote
When the system is armed your panel screen will read either “I’m armed in stay mode” or “I’m armed in away mode.” When armed, all intrusion sensors are actively monitoring the home and will alert the system if a sensor is triggered. Disarming the alarm system disables this intrusion feature. The Key Remote has an approximate range of 100 feet from the Cove Touch panel. How to Disarm System Via Key Remote You can disarm your system before or after you enter your home with the Key Remote. If you choose to enter your home first before disarming your system, the alarm will begin a 30-second audible entry delay countdown before triggering the alarm. When arming the system, select this mode when people will be staying inside the home. Arming in stay mode activates your door, window, and glass break sensors, but leaves the motion sensors disarmed.
