The Flood + Freeze Sensor gives you early warning of water leaks and freezing temperatures — two of the most common causes of costly home damage. This sensor works silently in the background to help you protect your home and belongings before disaster strikes.
Flood Detection
This sensor uses copper probes on the bottom to detect pooling water. As soon as water touches the probes, the sensor alerts you — giving you time to respond before things get worse.
Ideal for placing near:
- Under sinks
- Behind toilets
- Near water heaters
- In basements or laundry rooms
Important: The sensor can be placed in humid areas, but avoid locations where water might condense on the sensor itself.
Had a flood?
No problem — you can dry out your sensor:
- Place it on a dry towel for 24 hours
- If it continues to send false alerts, contact our Support Team
Freeze Detection
Freezing temperatures can lead to burst pipes and serious damage. This sensor helps prevent that by detecting:
- A 10°F temperature drop in under 1 minute
- A consistent temperature of 41°F or lower for 3 minutes
- If either condition occurs three times in 10 minutes, the alarm will trigger
Perfect for:
- Unheated basements or garages
- Near exposed pipes
- Vacation homes or cabins
