SkyBell Doorbell Camera Live Feed, Settings, and Notifications

Live Feed 

  1. Camera Status -This tells you the name of the camera, the current status, and if it is online or offline. 

  2. Live Feed - This is the live feed of the camera

  3. 2-way Audio - You can press the microphone button to speak through the camera to the individual at the door. (Please note you will need microphone permissions enabled on your phone in order for this function to work). 

  4. Hang up - This allows you to disconnect from the camera’s live feed when you’re not viewing your camera.

 

Settings

Unlike our other cameras, this camera's settings can be accessed straight from the app. To access those settings: 

  1. Click on the 3 bars at the top right of the app

  2. Click on “Settings”

  3. Select "Video"

  4. Swipe left from the name of the camera that you'd like to view. Click on the gear icon. 

Here are the settings you can access: 

  1. Notifications - Enable what type of notifications you’d like to receive.

    1. Button Press- This will send a push notification when your doorbell is pressed.

    2. Motion Detection -Will send a push notification when the camera detects motion. 

  2. Image Quality - Adjust quality from 480p to 1080p.

  3. Motion Detection - Enable motion detection, and adjust sensitivity.

  4. LED (Brightness) - Adjust the brightness of the LED on the front of the camera. 

  5. Indoor Chime - Settings related to the chime box.

    1. Indoor Chime - If the Indoor Chime slider is enabled, your chime box will ring when the doorbell is pressed. If it is disabled, only the camera will ring.

    2. Digital Door Chime - This should only be enabled if you have a digital doorbell. 

  6. Outdoor Chime - This setting causes a “ding-dong” noise to come from the camera itself when the button is pressed. You can adjust the volume.
