The Alarm Panel is not Connected to Wi-Fi during Installation Wizard

During the setup Wizard if your Alarm Panel is failing to connect and you see the following screens,

Please check the following:

  1. Bring your Alarm Panel into the Same Room as your Hub and Router

  2. Make sure you have selected the correct Wi-Fi network

    1. On this screen, you can tap on the white box in the top right-hand corner of your Alarm Panel screen and it will pull up a list of available Wi-Fi networks, select your network and tap on “Continue.” 

  3. Make sure your Wi-Fi password has at least 8 characters

    1. Your Wi-Fi Password must have at least 8 characters for your Alarm Panel to connect, if it doesn’t please contact your Internet Service Provider and update your Wi-Fi password.

    2. If you would like you can skip this step and finish the rest of the Setup Wizard.

    3. Once you have updated your Wi-Fi password you can follow the steps in this article to connect it to your Wi-Fi

  4. Make sure you have the correct Wi-Fi password

    1. On this screen, you can tap on the white box in the center-left of your Alarm Panel Screen and it will pull up a keyboard for you to enter your Wi-Fi password (including any special characters and case sensitivity) then tap on the green checkmark on the right-hand side of the keyboard and then tap on “Continue.” 

  5. If your panel is still failing to connect please tap on “Skip for Now” and complete the rest of the Setup Wizard.  

    1. After completing the Setup Wizard you can follow the steps in the Support Article to connect your Alarm Panel to WiFi.
