Glass Break Sensor False Alarms

It is important to IMMEDIATELY address any sensor trouble conditions when they occur. A low battery, loss of supervision, or abnormal sensor behavior can cause false alarms. 

Troubleshooting False Alarms

• Make sure the sensor is securely connected to the back mounting plate

• Do not locate the sensor near a kitchen or where clanging glass could cause false alarms

• Do not locate the sensor near a speaker system or stereo

• High-pitched barks from dogs may cause the glass break sensor to falsely trigger

• Replace the batteries
