Carbon Monoxide Detector Not Properly Triggering

  • updated 1 yr ago

Troubleshooting Steps

If you feel your CO Detector is not triggering properly, we recommend testing the sensor.  Your CO Detector will trigger in the event of Critical Carbon Monoxide Levels or you can test it by tampering with the CO Detector.  To do this please twist the CO Detector counter-clockwise until it detaches from its mounting plate.

Perform a Sensor Test

If the CO Detector is still not responding through testing, please check the following:

  • Verify that the batteries in the sensor are new, and make sure they are properly attached to the sensor.

  • Move the CO Detector closer to the Hub.

If the sensor still won’t trigger after performing the above troubleshooting steps, please reach out to our support team for further assistance.
