Changing Batteries for the Secondary Siren
If you have received a “Siren Low Battery” message on your alarm panel, you will need to replace the battery promptly to ensure the device continues to function properly. Unplug the siren. Open the cover on the front of the siren. Remove the old battery. Secondary Siren Tamper
The Secondary Siren has a tamper button on the inside of the siren that will send a tamper signal when the cover for the battery is open. Most alarm equipment has a built-in tamper switch to deter unauthorized interference. When the panel reports a tamper trouble condition it usually means the sensor casing is loose.
