What is Cove LiveAssist?
The Cove touch panels have an integrated microphone and speaker that enable communication with the monitoring center in the event of an alarm.
Live Assist FAQ
This feature allows two-way communication directly from your panel. This can be done by
- Arming your system and triggering an alarm
- Pressing the call button on your panel to request a Medical, Fire or Police dispatch
In an emergency, the monitoring center is able to speak to whoever is home, even if you've changed your emergency contact numbers.
Verbal Hostage Code
You can also set a verbal Hostage Code, which you would give the monitoring center in the event that you would like to have the authorities dispatched without informing anyone in your home. This is similar to the 4 digit hostage passcode. To have a verbal hostage code set, call 855.268.3669.
