Panic Alarms on the Alarm Panel
The Alarm Panel has a built-in Panic Function to allow you to trigger 3 different types of alarms, “Police,” “Fire,” and “Auxiliary” (Medical) Panics. The “Police” panic notifies our monitoring team to dispatch police. The “Fire” panic notifies our monitoring team to dispatch the fire department. The “Auxiliary” panic notifies our monitoring team to dispatch Emergency Medical Services (EMS). To Trigger a Panic Alarm Tap on the “Panics” button in the bottom navigational bar. Press and hold on the desired Panic until the green scrolling bar above the buttons reaches the end. (Roughly 3 seconds) When you are done with the panic, disarm the system with your code. With each alarm, you should expect a call from monitoring to confirm your alarm. If you do not answer the call from monitoring, our monitoring agents will assume you are experiencing an emergency and they will request to dispatch the authorities to your home. In addition, note that all 3 Panic alarms will trigger the siren; however the “Auxiliary” siren is not as loud as the “Police” and “Fire” sirens. If you would like to test the Panic function without receiving a call from monitoring and dispatch requests, please reach out to our support team for further assistance.…
